‘Force with no net sum,’ a site-specific, durational installation, is the first public exhibition of a collaborative practice between the artists. Constructed as a distillation system, it condenses the atmosphere of the space into a liquid, carrying scent, over the course of one month. The machine is a performer collecting breath, sweat, or humidity, amongst other indeterminate residues.
