Cities are subject to constant change. New eras bring new apparatuses of power that can override the common good and the ‘right to the city’ for the general public. The solo exhibition “Every epoch dreams the next” by Johannes Gierlinger revolves around historical inscriptions, imaginary spaces, moments of resistance and the utopian potential of cities and their inhabitants.
