A Circus About Life and Youth
SPLASH takes you into the world of a forgotten pool, where three older gentlemen embark on a journey to rediscover joy and freedom. Burdened by the daily routine of life, they’ve lost sight of the small wonders around them and within. But in this place, resembling a modern oasis rather than a lost relic, they encounter something unexpected – the Fountain of Youth looked after by an extraordinary woman, hidden within a mysterious shower that has the power to turn back time. Acrobatics, humour, music, and unforgettable imagery will transport you into a world brimming with surprises, enchantment, and renewal.
The performance explores the relationship between body and the spirit of youth, where jumping on a teeterboard brings back the fun and freedom that once felt natural. Water and acrobatics are the keys to returning to a time when every adventure was an opportunity for joy. What could happen if we start to believe again in the magic and energy that still reside within us?
