Akce je součástí Cirkusových nocí, koordinovaných Asociací nového cirkusu a La Nuit du Cirque, mezinárodního eventu organizovaného Territoires de Cirque (Francie).

Při události 17. listopadu, dne Boje za svobodu a demokracii, dala Industra skupině Cie Pieds Perchés volnou ruku k vytvoření site-specific představení. Multidisciplinární projekt Šrámy / Děti z Bakelitu použijí jako základ pro tuto intervenci.

Co je to vzpomínání?
Co si my a co naše těla uchovají z různých životních příběhů?
Jak dochází k přenosu historie bolesti z generace na generaci? Jak můžeme o této bolesti mluvit?

V první části projektu ŠRÁMY/ La débattue zkoumala autorka konceptu svou rodinnou historii a zpochybňovala viditelné i neviditelné stopy, které na ní mohly zanechat určité historické události. 

Děti z bakelitu také vznikají na základě rozhovorů, ale tentokrát s lidmi, kterým bylo v době Sametové revoluce kolem 10ti let. Autory projektu totiž zajímá úhel pohledu člověka, který je na prahu dospělosti, který je již schopen vytvořit si vlastní názor na svět, a přitom ještě nemusí být zatížen nánosem životních zkušeností dospělého jedince či společenskými konvencemi.

Pojítkem mezi první a druhou částí projektu ŠRÁMY je proces léčení a uzdravování cestou rozhovoru a sdílení.

Děti z bakelitu jsou experimentální koláží, která vzniká kompozicí různých uměleckých forem. Snoubí v sobě prvky zvukové a video instalace, které jsou aktivovány malými pohybovými a akrobatickými performancemi, podpořenými autentickým hudebním doprovodem.

Part of Czech Circus Nights coordinated by Czech Contemporary Circus Association and part of La Nuit du Cirque, an international event organised by the Territoires de Cirque (France).

For 17th of November (the Czech celebration of democracy and freedom, celebrating the Velvet Revolution) , Industra has given Cie Pieds Perchés carte blanche to create a site-specific show. The multidisciplinary project šrámy/ Děti z bakelitu will be used as the foundation for this intervention.

Stéphanie Nyota NDuhirahe continues her project ŠRÁMY with a second part entitled Bakelite's Children.
What is remembrance?
What do we and what do our bodies retain from different life stories?
How is the history of pain passed on from generation to generation? How can we talk about this pain?
In the first part of the project, La débattue, the artist explores her family's history, asking questions about the visible and invisible traces that certain historical events have left on her.

Bakelite's Children is also based on interviews, this time with people who were around 10 years old at the time of the Velvet Revolution. The artistic team is interested in the perspective of people on the threshold of adulthood, already able to form their own opinion of the world and perhaps not yet burdened by adult life experiences or social conventions.

The link between the first and the second part of the ŠRÁMY project is the process of healing and recovery through conversation and sharing.
Bakélite's Children is an experimental collage created through the composition of various artistic forms. It combines elements of sound and video installation, which are activated by movement and acrobatic performances, and is accompanied by live music.
