INDUSTRA is growing! With the current 11th STAGE season and the 14th season of our gallery, we are finding that our existing team capacities are simply no longer enough. That is why we are expanding our ranks and opening two essential positions. We are looking for an experienced production coordinator to support our main production manager with a packed program, and a stage/gallery technician who will ensure everything lights up, sounds, and works perfectly.

Stage and Gallery Technician

Are you a lighting technician, sound engineer, or rigger with a love for the arts? Do you want to advance our technical department and enjoy working with Czech and international creators?

• Your role: Technical production of theater and music performances (lights, sound, rigging), exhibition installations and de-installations, electrical installations. You will also be in charge of building management and maintenance, technical equipment inventory, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Responsibilities: Preparing light/sound design and equipment according to riders, communicating with ensembles. We are looking for someone who can “think ahead”, preventing problems and unnecessary costs.
• Requirements: Independent practitioner with great manual dexterity, communicative English, and a valid driver’s license.
• Additional skills (a huge advantage): Metalworking or carpentry, experience with 3D printing and prototyping, AV streams and broadcasting, or IT networking. We will appreciate it if you are familiar with Art-Net, DMX, AV networks, can modify fixture profiles for various lights, or manage DCI projectors (including working with DCP and KDM). A forklift license, experience working at heights, and slinging or crane operator certifications are also very useful.
• Mobility: Having your own car is a big plus for this position.
• Team player: We are looking for someone who enjoys learning new things, sharing experience, and working on both small projects and truly large-scale productions. Someone who will fit in with us professionally and personally, and will become a natural part of our community even after the event ends.

Experienced Production Coordinator for STAGE and Events

Our theater and event production is running at full speed, and we need another steady hand to join our main production manager and independently take over a part of the program. We are not looking for an enthusiast to train, but a ready-made professional. Someone who knows cultural operations inside out, understands how the independent scene works, and won’t collapse when the schedule changes.

• Event production: Complete organizational management of selected guest theater performances, events, and artistic residencies alongside the existing team.
• Guest care: Managing logistics, accommodation, travel arrangements, and overall care for guest artists from the Czech Republic and abroad.
• Administration: Preparation of production and technical riders and contracts, pricing, and financial settlement of individual events.
• On-site coordination: Presence at events (including evenings and weekends), supervising their smooth run, solving unexpected situations, and close coordination with the technical team or PR department.
• Requirements: Proven experience in cultural production is a must. Extreme diligence, budget management, and the ability to see tasks through to completion without constant supervision.
• Resilience and languages: You can improvise promptly and stay calm under stress. Excellent written and spoken English is essential, as we communicate with international guests daily.
• Advantages: A relevant university degree (arts management, production, cultural studies) and active driving with your own car for occasional production errands.
• Dedicated soul: This position is not for someone who just wants to clock their hours and run home. We want someone for whom INDUSTRA will be a natural home base, a place they like to visit even outside of work for a performance, exhibition, or just to hang out.
